Olga Sudareva
Lecturer in Economics
I am a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Auckland. My research lies at the intersection of macroeconomics, labour economics, and development economics, with a focus on gender inequality, migration, safety, human capital, and long-run economic development.
My work combines empirical analysis with macroeconomic theory to examine gender disparities, migration and assimilation, human capital, and financial and macroeconomic resilience. I am also interested in how artificial intelligence and large language models can support economic research, teaching, and policy evaluation.
